In 1995, before I joined WebTV, I created a website called Pixelsight. It is an interactive web based graphics editor for creating custom bitmap buttons, icons, and titles. I hooked up my rendering/compositing engine written on NeXTSTEP to a web server and created a fairly complex and powerful javascript front end to allow people to create their own custom graphics. They have a small library of clip-art on the site to help them get started. The site is currently a subscription based site, of which I am working on a new version to release soon. Here is an example graphic you can customize.
